Matthew Harris (baptised 11 July 1826 ā 13 April 1890), best known as Mat Harris, was an Irish Fenian, Land Leaguer, nationalist politician and Member of Parliament (MP) in the House of Commons of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, for the Irish Parliamentary Party. He represented Galway East from 1885 until his death in 1890.
