Jirō Nangō

Jirō Nangō (南郷次郎, Nangō Jirō, December 21, 1876 – March 5, 1951) was a Japanese rear admiral and judoka. He served in the Russo-Japanese War and World War I and served as the 2nd director of the Kodokan Judo Institute from 1938 to 1946.
The native form of this personal name is Nangō Jirō. This article uses Western name order when mentioning individuals.
