Sir George Roland Chetwynd, CBE (14 May 1916 – 2 September 1982) was a British lecturer, politician and public servant. He defeated Harold Macmillan to get elected as a member of parliament, but later left Parliament to become Director of the North East Development Council for five years in the 1960s.
