Florence Wilhelmina[1] Parpart Layman (January 1873[2] - December 3, 1930[3]), most commonly known by her maiden name of Florence Parpart, was an American inventor known primarily for her patents for an industrial sweeping machine[4] and electrical refrigerator.[5][6][7][8][9][10]
