36 in by 48 in (900 mm by 1200 mm) historic U.S. Route shield, based on the specifications of the 1999 Caltrans sign drawing but modified to roughly match what most other states use, except with no state name. Uses the Roadgeek 2005 fonts archive copy at the Wayback Machine. (United States law does not permit the copyrighting of typeface designs, and the fonts are meant to be copies of a U.S. Government-produced work anyway.) Colors are from [1] (Pantone Brown 469), converted to RGB by [2].
