Description |
John Philip Kemble's (1757–1823) most famous role was as Coriolanus. He made his first appearance in a major role in 1776 and later played Hamlet in London (his first role there) in 1783. During his career he managed both the Drury Lane Theatre and Covent Garden where he was noted for his parts in Shakespeare's plays. |
