Summary
DescriptionPeter Shaffer, 1966.jpg |
English: VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF DRAMA
Untyped and intending to stay that way, British playwright Peter Shaffer has turned to farce in the last of his four varied plays, all successful. It is "Black Comedy," commissioned for the British stage and due on Broadway Feb. 7 [1967]. A short play, it will be teamed with "A Warning Game," a melodrama which Shaffer has written since coming to New York for his new play. He is shown in his New York apartment. |
