Description |
Petit Palais during the 1900 Paris World Fair. The Petit Palais had been built especially for the Exposition universelle. During the time of the Exposition, it would house French Art exhibits. It was to serve after the Fair as a museum and art gallery. Architect Charles-Louis Girault conceived it and drew the plans of the building, which was characterized by a neo-classical style. |
