Summary
DescriptionIris Calderhead.jpg |
English: Iris Calderhead, suffragette. 3 x 5 in photograph.
Restorationist's note: There's some oddities to the original that should be noted here; I think they're signs of some minor historical photomanipulation. The line of the neck gets suddenly VERY sharp near the top on the left hand side (as you're looking at it), despite the rest of the photo being that slight bit soft at full resolution. The right side of the neck has a darker area. I don't think any of these would have had a major effect on the photo, but, especially since I took some time to fix a lot of these things, it's probably worth noting this happened. These things tended not to be TOO extensive back then - and, of course, they wanted to print a recognisable photo, so I don't imagine it's misleading, just "improvements". I've removed them as much as possible. |
