English: Royal Thai Marine Petty Officer 2nd Class Chaiwat Rodsin, Jungle Survival Trainer with Marine Recon Patrol allows U.S Marines to feel a snakes skin during jungle survival training alongside his U.S. Marine counterparts during exercise Cobra Gold 2020 in Ban Chan Khrem, Chanthaburi, Kingdom of Thailand, Mar. 1, 2020. The Marines learned essential skills necessary for surviving in a jungle environment, such as making a fire, eating plants and alternative ways to stay hydrated. Exercise Cobra Gold 20 is the largest theater security cooperation exercise in the Indo-Pacific region and is an integral part of the U.S. Commitment to strengthen engagement in the region.
