Summary
DescriptionCatmull-Clark limit surface of Cube (compare sphere).png |
English: The UV Sphere (green) has greater radius along the XYZ axes. The Catmull-Clark subdivided cube (magenta) at 5 levels of subdivision still protrudes beyond the sphere's surface at the corners and edges. This helps to see how the limit surface is not a perfect sphere although it looks like one. Created with Blender 2.91.0. |
