English: The Burlington Heights is a peninsula extending north from the City of Hamilton, Ontario toward the City of Burlington, Ontario. It separates Hamilton Harbour in the east from Cootes Paradise Marsh to the west. It is traversed by Highway 403 on its western shore and York Boulevard along its highest elevation. In the north (nearer) are major gardens owned by Royal Botanical Gardens. In the south are Dundurn Castle, John Harvey Park, and Hamilton Cemetery. Aerial photograph taken 18 May 2012. |
