Description'Eagle'.crashed.jpg | Photo taken by Nils Strindberg, member of the disastrous Andrée expedition, and hence dead in 1897. The image was downloaded from http://www.xs4all.nl/~pal/andree.htm, a site which states that it comes from the French magazine "L'illustration", December 1930, and is used with permission. However, I can't see that any permission is needed for a photo whose originator died in 1897. |
