Ilya Aronovich Likhtarev (1 February 1935, Pryluky, Chernihiv Oblast, Ukraine — 14 January 2017, Kyiv, Ukraine) — was a Soviet and Ukrainian biophysicist, founder of scientific school of dosimetry and radiological protection in Ukraine, founder of Ukrainian Radiation Protection institute of Academy of Technological Sciences of Ukraine, member of ICRP (1992—2006), member of National Commission of Radiological Protection of the USSR and Ukraine, Doctor of Sciences (1976), academic title professor (1984), Honored Scientist of Ukraine (2011).
