Alexander Kwamina Afenyo-Markin (born 27 May 1978) is the Member of the Parliament of Ghana for the Effutu constituency, Central Region. He also serves as a member of the Committee on Defense and Interior Committee in Ghana Parliament.[1][2] He was the Deputy Majority Leader in the Parliament of Ghana until February 2024[3] when he was promoted to the role of Majority Leader as part of reshuffle by President Nana Akufo-Addo and the leadership of the New Patriotic Party.[4]
