The 2024 season is Djurgårdens IF's 124th in existence, their 69th season in Allsvenskan and their 24th consecutive season in the league. In addition to the Allsvenskan, they will compete in the 2023–24 and the 2024–25 editions of the Svenska Cupen, and will enter the 2024–25 UEFA Conference League at the 2nd Qualifying Round after finishing as runners-up in the Svenska Cupen.
